US’ divisive policies seek to plunder regional capitals

 Spokesman of Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Bahram Ghasemi made the remarks in response to recent comments by the American Secretary of Defense James Mattis who accused Iranian authorities of committing terrorist acts.

"The allegations referred to by the secretary of defense of America on assassination of an Arabic ambassador in Washington by Iran is a fake and baseless scenario and, with many years past since the incident, the Hollywood nature of the has become more clear for the public opinion,” highlighted the official saying "these remarks are lies and fantasies shaped by warmonger authorities of the US as well as Saudis, as their regional alley in the Persian Gulf.”

The official noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran will never rely on these unsubstantial allegations.

Ghasemi said it was not strange for US officials to accuse Iran only a few days after Donald Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia since they had to somehow pay back or compensate the overspending and generosity of Saudi officials during the visit of the American delegation.

FM spokesman described the dollar-based and highly instrument view of America to the issue of terrorism as the scourge of stability and security of the world, the Middle East in particular; "continuation of these behaviors, darkens the prospect of success of the international community in the fight against the sinister and dangerous phenomenon of terrorism.”

At the end of his remarks, Bahram Ghasemi pointed to the long history of baseless accusations made by the US against leaders of independent countries asserting "divisive policies among Muslim countries is a strategic objective of the US aimed at creating fake and baseless threats in order to plunder capital of regional people by trading weapons.”
