Syria to Fight All Militants, US-Backed Force to Liberate CountryBouthaina Shaaban, the political and media adviser to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad made the remarks in an exclusive interview with Lebanon-based Arabic-language al-Manar television network on Friday.

"Whether it’s the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), or Daesh or any illegitimate foreign force in the country... we will fight against them so our land is freed completely from any aggressor,” she added.

The official noted that the US-backed SDF forces had managed to capture areas in northeastern Syria from Daesh "without any fighting,” implying that the Takfiri militants were working hand in glove with the SDF to take oil-rich areas.

"But they will not get what they want,” the Syrian official added.

The Syrian official further underscored that the plots for partitioning of Syria has failed.

Following the Syrian forces’ recent victories in the eastern province of Deir ez-Zor and their plan to pass Euphrates in order to liberate the remaining occupied lands north of the country, media reports said the US back militia also changed their focus from their battle with Daesh (also known as ISIS or ISIL) in Raqqa to Deir ez-Zor.

While the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are turning their direction towards Deir ez-Zor, analysts are warning about possible collision of these forces with the Syrian forces and their allies.
