Iranian President Blames US Biased Support for Israel for Instability in Middle-East"We believe that the most important reason for disruption of stability and security in the Middle-East is continued occupation and the US administration's biased and unsparing support for the Zionist regime and deprivation of the oppressed Palestinian nation of its preliminary rights to form an independent Palestinian government with the holy Quds as its capital," President Rouhani said, addressing the 13th Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states (PUIC) in Tehran on Tuesday.

He underscored the necessity for the Islamic states to continue their firm opposition to the US president's decision to transfer the country's embassy to the holy Quds until Trump will backtrack from his decision.

President Rouhani also expressed pleasure that the Palestinian issue has returned to its first place as the Islamic world's priority after the regional people defeated the terrorist groups, warning that Israel and the US are attempting to make the Muslims forget the Palestinian issue and the holy Quds.

In relevant remarks in October, Iranian Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the UN Gholamali Khoshrou blasted Israel for its expansionism and hostilities towards Palestine, stressing that Tel Aviv's occupation of Palestine is the main cause of all conflicts in the Middle-East.

"The Israeli occupation of the Palestinian lands is the core and central of all conflicts in the Middle East. The injustice has been continuing for more than seven decades, exacerbated through Israeli expansionist and aggressive policies towards Palestinians and the whole Region," Khoshrou said, addressing the UN Security Council's Open Debate on 'Situation in the Middle East, including the Palestine question' in New York.

"Attempts by US to exclude this issue from Security Council’s agenda serves no purpose but ignore the suffering of the Palestinian people created by Israeli suppression and occupation in the longest tragedy and supported by US in the Middle East," he added.
