Saudi Airstrikes Kill Several Civilians in YemenThe Saudi-led coalition targeted two cars transporting passengers and a truck at the main road of A’al-Ama’ar in Safra’a district in the northern Sa’ada province, killing 15 civilians and injuring three others, a security official told Saba News Agency.

It also targeted Yemeni civilians’ cars in the Mawza district southwest of Taiz in which five Yemeni civilians were killed.

In retaliation to the Saudi aggression, the sniper unit of the Yemen army and Popular Committees shot dead five Saudi-paid mercenaries in separate operations in Serwah district in the central province of Marib on Wednesday.

Also, Yemeni troops shelled Saudi soldiers’ gatherings and their military vehicles in Jarah valley, Sawdah and Faridha sites in the kingdom’s Jizan border province.

Furthermore, Yemeni forces fired katyusha rockets at Saudi soldiers’ gatherings in Mawsem gate and Matin camp, killing and wounding a number of them.

Yemen’s defenseless people have been under massive attacks by the coalition for almost three years but Riyadh has reached none of its objectives in Yemen so far.

Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to fugitive former president Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi, an ally of Riyadh.

Over 14,000 Yemenis, including thousands of women and children, have lost their lives in the deadly military campaign.
