Hundreds of Iraqi people took to the streets of Baghdad Sunday to slam a recent US-led attack on Syria, a report said.

TEHRAN ( DEFAPRESS)-The rally took place in al-Tahrir region in Baghdad during which the protesters condemn the US, the UK and France for attacking Syria without a UN mandate, Iraqi News Reported.
The protesters raised Iraqi and Syrian flags in solidarity with the Syrian nation, chanting anti-US slogans.
On Saturday, powerful Iraqi Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr called for a mass rally against the US-led strike on Syria, stressing that only the Iraqi and Syrian flags should be raised in the protest.
