Iran Parliament after enhanced ties with Turkmenistan: MPTEHRAN (Defapress)-Iran has to make maximum use of neighbors' capacities, Hossein Naqavi Hosseini, spokesman for Majlis (Parliament) National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, told reporters in this Iranian capital city.

About the today's Commission meeting, Naqavi Hosseini said it reviewed economic problems, issues of gas and electricity in particular, between Iran and Turkmenistan.

Turkmenistan, the lawmaker said, has already complained about its demands that Iran should meet, and the Iranian officials in charge of power issues said that the banking problems have hindered the solution process.

The today's Majlis session, the parliamentarian said, decided that the problems in cooperation with with Turkmens should be solved in any ways and obstacles in the way of relations with all neighboring countries should be studied and removed.

The dispute started between Iran and Turkmenistan over gas imports when Ashgabat, despite its previous agreements with Tehran, demanded illogically higher prices for its exported gas to Iran's northern regions.
