Supreme Leader receives Hezbollah war veterans

Tehran(Defapress)- meeting was held on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of the 33-day war between Lebanon and the Zionist regime of Israel.

The 2006 Lebanon War was a 33-day military conflict in Lebanon, Northern Israel and the Golan Heights. The principal parties were Hezbollah paramilitary forces and the army of the Zionist regime.

The war ended on 8 September 2006 when Israel had to lift its naval blockade of Lebanon without achieving any of its goals.
