Political Wing of SDF to Open Offices in Lattakia, Damascus, Hama, Homs

TEHRAN (Defapress)- According to Ahmad, the SDF’s political wing will be opening offices in the provinces of Lattakia, Damascus, Hama and Homs.

This move comes after another meeting between the Syrian government and Syrian Democratic Council (SDF) in Northern Syria.

Earlier in the week, it was announced that the SDF and Syrian government would have joint control over the Tishrin Dam in Western Raqqa.

While some members of the SDC deny the government reached out to mend relations, a source in Damascus told al-massdar this week that peace talks are going well.

This same source told the news agency two weeks ago that the government and SDC reached an agreement in Hasaka that would allow for the former to eventually control the province.

Al-massdar is awaiting a response regarding the latest claims by Ilham Ahmad’s comments.
