More Regions Come under Gov't Control in Southern Syria

TEHRAN (Defapress)- The army men engaged in fierce clashes with the terrorists in a region between Dara'a and Quneitra provinces, taking control over the villages and towns of Rasm Qatish, Rasm al-Zaviyeh, Ein Ziwan, Ein al-Abd, Koudneh, al-Asbah and hills of Ahmar Qarbi and Ahmar Sharqi.

In the meantime, the country's air force pounded the positions and bases of ISIL terrorists in the towns of Tasil and Sahm al-Jouran in Western Dara'a, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.

On Friday, the army forces managed to drive terrorists out of the strategic hill of al-Jabiyeh overlooking the town of Nawa in Northwestern Dara'a.

The army soldiers further liberated the village of al-Sukriyeh and several military points Northwest of Nawa.

The army further advanced and captured the village of Qarqas North of al-Sukriyeh in Quneitra province after terrorists retreated from the battlefield.

A large number of terrorists were killed or wounded and their military hardware were destroyed in the attacks.
