Official says liberal policies not suitable for economic war

He, who is the representative of Toiserkan constituency in the Parliament, pointed to the current situation of currency and said, “under such circumstances, the government should manage current economic problems logically especially in the field of FOREX.”

The spokesman termed the allocation of primary market and revenues obtained from oil sales to the import of basic commodities as a ‘right and accurate decision’ and said, “at this juncture that the government experiences tough economic situation, it is necessary that it [government] should take accurate decision and support people in this critical economic situation financially.”

Basic goods and commodities should be allocated to the deprived people in the country within the framework of a quota, he emphasized.

He once again termed adoption of liberal theories and free market at the current situation of economic war as ‘inappropriate and wrong’ and said, “these theories will not work especially at the condition that the country is grappling with economic war. The government should administer whole economy of the country in the best form possible which includes producers. In the same direction, private refinery and petrochemical companies, which receive cheap governmental exchange, are duty bound to deliver their products to people with fair and reasonable price.”
