No New US Sanctions against Iran Waiting for November 4

"There has remained no more item for the Americans to use under the sanctions policies," Falahatpisheh told the Arabic-language al-Alam news channel on Monday.

He referred to Iran's efforts to reduce the impacts of the US sanctions, and said that the Europeans have also declared that they will present their practical package which will offer a new monetary-banking path for Iran and guarantee the country's oil sales before November 4.

"I have held talks with the Iranian diplomats in this regard and they were highly optimistic about the Europeans' solutions," Falahatpisheh said.

Iranian officials have downplayed the effects of the US sanctions, saying that the country has found new customers for its crude oil.

Iranian First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri announced on Sunday that the government had found new ways to export the country's crude despite the harsh US sanctions.

"We have found a number of new oil partners. We, in the government, have found mechanisms to export our oil, do transportation, make financial exchanges and achieve our desired goals in other areas despite what Americans desire," Jahangiri said, addressing a ceremony in Tehran.

He added that the US economic and political sanctions did not merely target the Iranian government, but the whole nation.

"They lie when they say they have not targeted the humanitarian issues because the US has taken the toughest actions against the transfer of money to buy basic commodities for (the Iranian) people in the past few days," Jahangiri said.

Also earlier this month, Jahangiri said that "our goal is to increase our resources, and the US claims that it can zero Iran's oil exports. Now, despite the fact that certain countries have stopped buying Iran's oil, we have found new customers".
