Quds Indivisible

Quds IndivisibleIn an address to the 32nd International Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran on Saturday, Sheikh Naim Qassem made it clear that it will be impossible to divide al-Quds into eastern and western parts.

“One cannot break up the territories of a nation,” he said of the Palestinian lands.

Sheikh Qassem also said that Hezbollah could achieve victory over the Zionist regime of Israel and its Takfiri mercenaries by pivoting on Palestine and al-Quds.

Branding the US government as the epitome of cruelty, arrogance and crime in the world, the Lebanese cleric said the US, the Israeli regime and Saudi Arabia have joined hands against Palestine and al-Quds.

Israel is the center of evil and sedition, and its objective behind occupation of Palestine is to hinder the region’s progress, he added.

Sheikh Qassem further highlighted the need for unity against the enemies of Muslim nations, saying that unity requires enduring resistance in practice.

The Islamic Unity Conference kicked off in Tehran on Saturday morning with representatives from 100 countries in attendance.

The annual gathering is held on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in order to lay the ground for stronger unity and solidarity among Muslims and provide appropriate solutions for their problems.
