AEOI's Spokesman Behrouz Kamalvandi said in 2018 that Tehran and Moscow would continue mutual cooperation in the field of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.
"Russia has always supported Iran's stances during talks on Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA)," Kamalvandi said.
He pointed to cooperation between Iran and Russia in nuclear field, and said, "In addition to constructing one 1,000-megawatt power plant which is currently operational, two other 1,000-megawatt power plants are under construction."
