Iranians Will Disappoint EnemiesThe Iranian president and his cabinet members attended a ceremony at the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini south of Tehran on Saturday to pay tribute to the late founder of the Islamic Republic and renew allegiance to his goals.

In comments at the ceremony, Rouhani highlighted his administration’s resolve to improve ties with other countries despite the obstructive US policies.

“The (Iranian) administration has been making every effort to create appropriate relations with the Eastern and Western world, but a rookie administration (the US) caused a lot of troubles for our people, for the region, and even for its own people,” Rouhani said.

He further underlined that Iran will successfully pass through the current “historic turn” and disappoint the enemies with the unity and rapport among the people and administration.

“The plots of enemies will end when they become disappointed at harming the (Iranian) establishment. So, our big goal is to disappoint the enemies,” he underlined.

In a meeting with Japan’s visiting prime minister in Tehran in June, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei denounced the US hostility towards the Iranian nation over the past forty years, stressing, “We believe that our problems would not be solved through talks with the US, and no free nation would approve of negotiations under pressures.”

The Leader also hailed the Japanese prime minister’s assertion that Americans always seek to impose their thoughts and policies on the other countries, noting, “You had better also know that Americans are not content with any limit in imposing their stances.”
