Pres. Rouhani felicitates Ukraine's Independence Day
TEHRAN (defapress) – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, in a message on Saturday, congratulated the 28th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence to the government and nation of the European country.
The Iranian president wished health and success for President Vladimir Alexandrovich Zelensky and prosperity and glory for the people of Ukraine.
Rouhani also expressed hope that Tehran-Kyiv relations would develop day by day in line with the interests of the two countries.
Independence Day of Ukraine is the main state holiday in modern Ukraine, celebrated on 24 August in commemoration of the Declaration of Independence of 1991.
