Four al-Nujaba warriors martyred in Baghdad’s northern belt/al-Kadhimi administration’s negligence in countering terrorism.According to the Communication and Media Affairs Centre of al-Nujaba in Iran, a number of fighters of the 12th Brigade of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces, consisting of members of the al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Movement, were martyred in an ambush by Daesh terrorists in the town of al-Tarmiyyah, north of Baghdad.

According to sources on the battlefield, Takfiri elements first detonated a roadside mine and then attacked the al-Nujaba fighters from five positions on adjacent farms.

Following this terrorist attack, the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces confirmed the martyrdom of four warriors from al-Nujaba and announced the names of the casualties as: Ali Kadhim Hatim Tahir al-Azayrjawi, Yusuf Muhammad Jasim Hani al-Karimawi, Muhammad Hamzah Naser Husayn al-Jubouri and Zargham Adnan Hani Ibrahim al-Janabi and reported the injuries of a number of other fighters of this brigade.

The deputy commander of the 12th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces is one of the martyrs of the al-Nujaba Movement in this ambush.

It is worth mentioning that the al-Tarmiyyah region has long been the centre of Daesh’s silent hub due to the negligence of the al-Kadhimi administration.

In this regard, the chairman of the Political Council of al-Nujaba called on the transitional government to take effective measures in response to the bloodshed of the martyrs of the Popular Mobilization Forces, instead of politically abusing and spreading repeated messages of condolences.
