TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Turkish Intelligence Organization (MIT) announced that Saleha Aghbeik, the self-proclaimed leader of the PKK terrorist group in Iran was killed during an operation in the city of Sulaymaniyah, Iraq. 

According to this report, Aghbeik was targeted and killed in the Penjwin district of ​​Sulaymaniyah, near the border of Iran.

She was wanted by Türkiye due to criminal actions.

Aghbeik joined PKK in 1993 and was active in the border areas of Iran and Iraq.
