TEHRAN (Defapress) - Intense clashes are occurring between Palestinian fighters and Israeli forces in northern Gaza, according to a statement from the Qassam Brigades on Telegram. 

The Israeli military has, for the first time in months, sent tanks and soldiers into the Gaza Strip, and is forcing civilians to move to what it refers to as “safe zones” in the south. 

In contrast, Gaza’s Interior Ministry has called upon Palestinian civilians in the northern region to disregard these evacuation directives. The ministry declared, “Claims made by Israel regarding safe zones in southern Gaza are untrue, as the Israeli forces continue to commit atrocities and massacres across all areas of the enclave.” 

Additionally, health officials have reported that at least 20 Gazans have been martyred in northern Gaza since Saturday night.
