YAF launched strategic actions against Israel on the Al-Aqsa storm anniversary

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Yemeni Armed Forces have issued a statement confirming the successful execution of two military operations as part of the fifth escalation phase. The first operation targeted two Israeli army installations in the occupied Yaffa region, employing two missiles: one of the Palestine-2 type and the other a Zulfiqar missile. They asserted that the operation met its intended objectives.

Additionally, the Yemeni Armed Forces reported that earlier today, the Air Force deployed several drones against various targets in both the Yaffa area and the Umm al-Rashrash region in southern occupied Palestine, utilizing "Yaffa" and "Sammad-4" drones. They confirmed that several of these drones successfully struck their intended targets.

The Armed Forces emphasized that these operations are integral to their ongoing commitment to defend the legitimate rights of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples. These actions coincide with the first anniversary of October 7th, which marks the commencement of the Al-Aqsa Flood battle.

On this significant anniversary, the Yemeni Armed Forces expressed their solidarity with the courageous fighters of the Palestinian resistance across all factions in Gaza and the West Bank, as well as with their counterparts in the Islamic resistance in Lebanon.

The Yemeni Armed Forces reaffirmed their dedication to conducting further military operations against the Israeli adversary and maintaining a naval blockade until the aggression ceases, the blockade on Gaza is lifted, and hostilities against Lebanon come to an end.

Israel regime its severe campaign of violence in Gaza following a surprise operation, dubbed Al-Aqsa Storm, conducted by Palestinian resistance groups in the occupied territories.

The Israeli regime has imposed a near-total siege on the Gaza Strip, severely restricting the flow of essential supplies, including food, medicine, electricity, and water into Palestinian areas.

Moreover, Israel has escalated its acts of terror and aggression in Lebanon, culminating in the assassination of Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in an airstrike targeting southern Beirut. 

The death toll from Israeli aerial assaults across Lebanon since early October 2023 has passed the 1,700 mark with nearly 8,770 injured, according to Lebanese government data. In response, Hezbollah has fired barrages of rockets and drones towards Israeli targets.
