Rouhani congratulates Russian Pres. on national day

President Rouhani expressed hope that Iranian-Russian relations would further develop in bilateral, regional and international spheres in the spirit of mutual respect and consistent with the core interests of the people of the two countries.

The Iranian president wished his counterpart and the Russian nation continued happiness, well-being and prosperity.

Russia Day is the national holiday of the Russian Federation celebrated on June 12 since 1992, commemorating the beginning of constitutional reform in the Russian Soviet state.
