TEHRAN (defapress) – Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi welcomed the recent designation of Sanandaj and Bandar Abbas as UNESCO Creative Cities, saying that this is a good opportunity to better introduce Iran to the world.

The decision by the United States to withdraw from UNESCO will lead to isolation of the country and reduce its apparent prestige regarding loyalty to international obligations.
