First vice president: Country is not in stalemate

TEHRAN (Defapress)_  Jahangiri said, 'This does not mean, however, that we are facing a stalemate; We do not lie even in a critical condition.'

He reiterated that it is because of the fact that the country enjoys immense and distinctive capabilities, namely natural resources, manpower, culture and a very glorious civilization.

'We believe that the country's cultural capabilities and its great civilization serve as a good backing for our nation,' he said.

Iran is number one in terms of oil and gas resources, ten in terms of natural resources, minerals and ferrous materials and geographically is very wide, bridging Persian Gulf and the Middle East, he said.
