Palestinian Prisoner Dies in Israeli Jail

Barghouthi, a 23-year-old from Aboud village in the West of Ramallah, reportedly fell to the ground unconscious in a bathroom in the jail, which is located in the Negev desert, Palinfo reported.

Prisoners stated that the prison administration delayed providing the prisoner with medical assistance for about half an hour after his fellow prisoners started to shout for help.

Barghouthi had been in the Negev jail for four years, serving an eight-year prison term.
