TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Telegraph newspaper confirmed that the Western failure in the Red Sea was reflected in the British imports, for whom cutting off the maritime trade artery would lead to destruction.
The newspaper reported that the additional costs incurred by shipping companies for high insurance or fuel will lead to new burdens on consumers who will pay the price of these costs.
The Telegraph newspaper said that the US Navy's abandonment of the rescue of the "SOUNION" oil tanker, which has been burning for weeks, indicates the US retreat from protecting maritime navigation.
This newspaper added: "The US Navy has backed away from its claim to protect navigation, which makes sailors and US Navy observers very concerned".
The British Telegraph's statement comes days after the withdrawal of the US aircraft carrier, Roosevelt, from the Middle East, after it had been unable for months to enter the Yemeni operations area in the Red Sea.
