We don't want tension but we are ready for any scenario

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Upon his arrival in Baghdad, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, in a conversation with reporters, pointed out that the positions of the two countries are common in the field of regional issues, and assessed the positions of the Iraqi authorities regarding the developments in the region and Lebanon as good.

Regarding any action of the Zionist regime to escalate tension in the region, he said: We do not want war and tension, but we are ready for any scenario.

Iran's Foreign Minister stated: Nevertheless, our goal is to prevent any disaster with the help of regional countries.

Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran's Foreign Minister, arrived at Baghdad International Airport this afternoon (Sunday) as part of an official visit, and was welcomed by Iraqi officials and the ambassador of our country in Baghdad.

This trip was carried out in the framework of the series of regional trips of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran.
