We Always Stand with the Oppressed People of the world

TEHRAN (Defapress) - In a meeting with Major General Amir Hatami, Commander-in-Chief of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, General Rudzani Maphwanya, Commander of the South African National Defense Forces, delivered his message and greetings to the Iranian nation, and the Minister of Defense and President of South Africa, stated: The Republic of South Africa and the Islamic Republic of Iran have common goals; we always stand with the oppressed and defenseless of the world.

General Maphwanya added: I express my sympathy to the people of Gaza and Palestine who are being bombed while they are in line to distribute food, and I condemn it.

The Commander of the South African National Defense Forces, stating that we condemn the actions of the Zionist regime in Gaza and the West Bank, which are in line with the regime's settlement policies, said: "That is why we filed a petition with the International Court of Justice to hold the perpetrators of genocide accountable for their actions."

He continued: "There has long been mutual respect between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of South Africa, and we call for deepening relations in all areas, especially defense relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran."

In conclusion, referring to the goals of his trip to Tehran, General Maphwanya said: "This trip is not just a military trip, but also has a political message and was carried out at the best possible time to express our heartfelt feelings to the peace-loving nation of Iran."
