Afghan airstrikes kill 19 militants

The aircrafts, according to the official, attacked Taliban positions in Beshpak area and besides inflicting casualties also destroyed their weapon caches.

Without mentioning the possible casualties of the security forces, the official noted that the security forces would continue to target militants elsewhere in the country.

Taliban militants who have intensified activities and gained grounds in Jawzjan and neighboring Faryab and Saripul provinces recently, are yet to make comments on the situation in Aqcha district.
