TEHRAN, Apr. 26 (Defapress) – “If US leaves the JCPOA, we will pull out from the NPT because we have paid too much costs for the JCPOA and we are not going to buy nothing for those costs,” said Secretary of Iran’s Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaei, on Thursday.

He made the remarks addressing a press conference with reporters from foreign news outlets.

“Undoubtedly, the martyrdom of the head of political council of Yemen is a war crime and the recent behaviors of Saudi Arabia shows that they have lost hope and the Yemenis should sue the perpetrators of this crime,” he added, touching upon the recent developments in Yemen and the assassination of al-Sammad by Saudi forces.

When he was asked about economic problems of Iranian people, Mr. Rezaei said, “Since the beginning of the Revolution we have acquired this ability to change threats into opportunity the same way we did during the years of the Imposed War; while we were under economic siege and arms embargo, we used our scientific potentials and with efforts and sacrifices we garnered might and I am sure that we can reach economic prosperity from the heart of these discontents and protests.”

Touching upon Syrian crisis, he said that the future of Syria is bright and the people of Syria now know their friends and enemies.
