ISIL Fleeing towards Depth of Sweida Desert as Syrian Army Continues Advancing

TEHRAN (defapress)- The Syrian Army troops continued advancing against ISIL in several flanks in the Eastern desert of Sweida on Tuesday, forcing tens of terrorists to retreat from their positions in groups towards depth of Toloul al-Safa.

ISIL Fleeing towards Depth of Sweida Desert as Syrian Army Continues AdvancingThe army men continued storing ISIL's strongholds from 5 flanks in Toloul al-Safa in Eastern desert, imposing control over more areas.

The army men managed to seize control over a field hospital and a water reservoir, destroying a command post.

Tens of ISIL terrorists, who were not capable of resisting, fled the battlefield towards the depth of Toloul al-Safa.

Other units of the army managed to capture an area as large as 6 sq-km in the rocks that is full of hideout.

The army further seized two training bases and a large volume of military equipment and weapons.

Other army men preempted an attack of a group of ISIL that were planning to life government forces' siege.

The army men captured the entire members of the group that were in fake dress.     

On Monday, the army men engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL in Northwestern, Western and Southwestern Toloul al-Safa in the Eastern deserts of Sweida, taking control over more large areas, including several heights and caves in the rocks.

The army men further advanced in Toloul al-Safa and deployed near a main water source of the terrorists.

In the meantime, other units of the army repelled a heavy offensive of the ISIL in Qabr Sheikh Hossein region, inflicting major losses on the terrorists and forcing the remaining pockets of them to retreat from the battlefield.
