Iran 1st VP congratulates Qatar National Day
TEHRAN(defapress)– Iran's First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri congratulated Qatar's National Day in a message to the country's Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani on Saturday.
Stressing Iran and Qatar's commonalities, he hoped that the mutual relations will be strengthened further than before to help peace and tranquility be restored throughout the regional and Islamic countries.
Qatar National Day, also known as Founder's Day, is a national holiday in Qatar which celebrates the country's unification in 1878. It is celebrated annually on 18 December.
