Saudi-led coalition violates ceasefire agreement 64 times in 24 hours
TEHRAN(defapress)– A ceasefire agreement between Yemeni forces and the Saudi-led coalition was violated 64 times in 24 hours by the coalition forces, Spokesman for Yemeni Armed Forces Brigadier General Yahya Saree said on Friday according to Yemen’s Saba news agency.
The violations occurred while the Yemeni side continued to uphold the ceasefire agreement, the Yemeni General said.
Saree added that the coalition forces have launched 51 attacks on residential areas.
The warring sides in Yemen agreed on a ceasefire on December 13 following a week of negotiations in Stockholm.
The ceasefire agreement came into force since December 18, but the Yemeni officials have criticized the Saudi-led coalition for repeated violation of the agreement.
