Syrian Army Targets ISIL Sleeper Cell in Sweida Desert

According to a military communique in the area, the Syrian Arab Army stormed a cave used by the ISIL sleeper cell to store weapons and other supplies in Toloul al-Safa region in the Eastern desert of Sweida, massdar news reported.

The communique added that the army managed to hunt down all three terrorists that were hiding inside the cave, while also confiscating all of their equipment.

In November, the army announced the liberation of Toloul al-Safa region after a several-month-long battle against the ISIL terrorist group.

However, since declaring victory in Southern Syria, the Damascus forces have been uncovering many sleeper cells and warehouses used by the terrorists.
