Iranian, South African FMs Meet in TehranDuring the meeting, the two top diplomats exchanged views about a range of issues, including ways to boost the relations between the Islamic Republic and the African nation.

Pandor has traveled to Tehran to participate in the 14th round of Iran-South Africa joint commission meetings.

Expansion of relations with African nations in all political, economic and cultural fields is top on the agenda of Iran's foreign policy.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, who won a second term back in May 2017, has repeatedly stressed his government's interest in boosting relations with the African states.
