TEHRAN (defapress) - COVID-19 was first detected in the United States in January 2020. The first case was reported on January 21, 2020, in Washington State.

Great weakness in the US Health System

In late January 2020, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) began monitoring for cases of pneumonia of unknown cause in Washington State and other parts of the country. Then in February 2020, the first case was reported in California, and soon after, cases were reported in Arizona, Illinois, and Florida. Soon, all US states were affected by COVID-19.

During the peak of the coronavirus infection, Americans suffered from the unprofessional policies of their politicians and because of that, the death toll rose.

Even though America was one of the pioneers in making the COVID-19 vaccine, Pfizer, they weren't able to manage the pandemic, and till February 2024, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported that there have been a total of 952,153 deaths.

Lately, President Biden who is the future candidate of Democrats, got infected by this virus. It shows that the health system of America has a great gap in getting rid of this virus.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, The US sanctions put great barriers in front of Iran and caused the death toll to increase because of this virus. Several years have passed and now Iran can control and eliminate the coronavirus while the US citizens, even their president are not safe from the risk of this virus.

The high price of health organizations, the bad economic situation of Americans, and the non-observance of health principles by people besides lots of other reasons, make this a horrible condition for the US and even after four years, they cannot manage this catastrophe.
