TEHRAN (Defapress) - In a phone call with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, OIC Secretary General Hissein Brahim Taha expressed his serious concern over the recent Zionist Regime attacks on Iran and condemned the military aggression against Iran in the strongest possible terms.
According to the Anadolu Agency, he further emphasized the OIC’s commitment to mobilize international support through this organization and in coordination with the United Nations to address “this blatant violation of international law and prevent a worrying increase in tension and insecurity in the region.”
Araghchi, in turn, thanked the OIC Secretary General and called for a collective response by Islamic countries to confront “the Zionist Regime’s increasing lawlessness and aggression” against countries in the region.
The Iranian Foreign Minister continued: "Its blatant violation of international law and the UN Charter, its brazen threat to regional and international peace and security, and its actions in killing civilians and Iranian university professors, along with attacking Iran's nuclear facilities, once again emphasize the fact that this regime's impunity only fuels further crimes and aggression."
