Successful Test of New Iranian Weapon on US Carrier

TEHRAN (Defapress) - In an interview with the IRGC spokesman, Brigadier General Hossein Mohebbi, regarding Iran’s new anti-ship missile, he said: As the world has seen, we are constantly increasing our military capabilities and producing and testing new weapons to defend the country and repel enemies' evil.

Brigadier General Mohebbi continued: The first test of this missile on an aircraft carrier was carried out in the past few days, and if a new attack occurs, we will bring other weapons into the field.

The IRGC spokesman also referred to the performance of the Armed Forces in confronting advanced American equipment during the 40-Day Imposed War (Ramadan War), stating: "This war showed that the most advanced American technologies used in the military and defense industry have been dominated by Iran."

He added: "A clear example of this is the F-35 fighter jet, which has the latest technologies in the field of body alloy, facilities, radar evasion, flight altitude, and ammunition carrying capacity. This fighter jet, which uses the latest technologies of American fighters, was targeted by the new and modern defense of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force."

Brigadier General Mohebbi also referred to the hunting of an American submarine by the IRGC Navy fighters and stated: "This superior technology also exists in a submarine that fell into the hands of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy fighters, and its reverse engineering will begin."
