Explosion of 4 Oil Tankers and Seizure of 2 Violating Vessels: 56th U.S. MQ-9 Drone Downed

TEHRAN (Defapress) - In a statement, the Public Relations office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reported the destruction of four violating oil tankers due to mine strikes, the seizure of two other violating vessels, and the downing of the 56th U.S. MQ-9 drone.

Coinciding with the 248th night of your historic uprising, your combatants, the sons of the nation serving in the Naval and Aerospace forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), have dealt heavy blows to the enemy.

Four violating oil tankers, which attempted to pass through a prohibited zone south of the Strait of Hormuz, were destroyed after striking naval mines and remain engulfed in flames; two other violating vessels have been seized.

Furthermore, in an innovative operation, the air defense combatants of the IRGC Aerospace Force successfully targeted and downed an MQ-9 drone, the 56th of its kind, using an advanced air defense system over the Strait of Hormuz at 4:30 AM today.

The combatants of Islam, with hands on the trigger, stand ready to deliver the final blow to the child-killing Zionist regime and the aggressor United States.
