TEHRAN (Defapress) - Brigadier General Ismail Ahmadi-Moghaddam, President of the Supreme National Defense University, speaking to the Defa Press correspondent regarding the advances made by Ansar Allah and their confrontation with Saudi-backed mercenaries, remarked: "Throughout the 12-year conflict in Yemen, Ansar Allah has succeeded in bolstering its defensive infrastructure and capabilities, thereby altering the realities on the ground. Consequently, the current standing of this movement necessitates that regional nations and external interveners reconsider their perspective on Ansar Allah and Yemen."

Brigadier General Ahmadi-Moghaddam continued: "By resolving Yemen’s issues internally, among the Yemenis themselves, they can settle their own domestic disputes. Regional countries should support the internal Yemeni negotiation process aimed at reaching agreements while refraining from interference. The Yemeni people possess the capacity to achieve lasting peace and security on their own."

Regarding the quadrilateral meeting involving Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia, the President of the Supreme National Defense University noted: "I am not privy to the specific content of the discussions; however, the very fact that regional powers from West Asia are gathering in Iran, especially following the developments of recent months, underscores the political weight and significance of our country."

He added: "The nations that constitute the Mecca Pact have, in effect, signaled that this pact is not directed against Iran." At the very least, this meeting conveys the message that this pact is not intended to be directed against Iran; rather, it is meant to support the Islamic Republic of Iran, with all regional nations uniting against the Zionist regime and other threats.
