The text of this statement is as follows:

The heroic nation of Islamic Iran;

Your epic 220 nights of presence in the millions and your steadfastness in defending right and justice have amazed the world, calling on nations to help improve the situation and serving as the most important divine support and encouragement for the warriors of Islam.

In fulfillment of the Supreme Commander’s order and the demand of the Iranian people to exercise sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz, the IRGC Navy is in charge of managing the Strait and has not and will not allow the presence of aggressor armies in this region, and they are resolutely dealing with the enemy’s mischief to disrupt this management.

In the course of carrying out this mission, a few hours ago, a giant LPG gas carrier named NV Sunshine belonging to the NatWit company, which was attempting to illegally pass through the southern route of the Strait of Hormuz, was hit and caught fire in the engine room and propulsion system.

The IRGC Navy announces:

1- Everyone should know that the direct responsibility for these incidents and the escalation of tensions in maritime transport in the region lies with the aggressor US army, which causes such incidents by interfering with and deceiving the management of shipping companies and insurance companies and paying huge bribes. As these interventions continue, the number of tragic incidents will increase day by day.

2- Companies that fall for the deception of the American aggressors will be sanctioned, and necessary punitive measures will be applied to all vessels of the offending companies.

3- From now on, dealing with offending vessels will not be limited to the Strait of Hormuz, and any vessel that passes through an unauthorized passage will be pursued throughout the region, and its punishment will be definitive.
