TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Israeli Broadcasting Authority quoted security officials as saying that "the Israeli army's operations in the Gaza Strip have generally ended."

The Zionist officials added that the security establishment informed the political leadership that "the time has come to conclude a deal to return the Israeli detainees."

The same sources stated that "Israel can enter the Gaza Strip again when new intelligence information becomes available."

The occupation army's announcement about the "final" end of its military operations in Gaza coincided with the end of the latest round of negotiations in Doha, which has been considered the "last chance" to reach a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and conclude a prisoner exchange agreement.

The fact that the security agency of the occupying regime has informed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the time has come for the exchange of prisoners seems to be the continuation of pressure on him, who has been accused many times of obstructing the process of the exchange agreement.

This news has been published as an operation was carried out against the people of Gaza this morning and a number of them were martyred. That shows that despite the Zionist officials' pressure on Netanyahu to release the Israeli hostages, they prefer to gamble on the hostages' lives. That's another proof of the Zionist non-adherence to any treaty or even its internal declaration.

A Palestinian analyst has expressed his opinion and said that the Israeli army's intention to end operations in Gaza is to move to a new phase of the war, which includes the army remaining in the axes of "Netzarim" and "Philadelphia" as well as areas in this strip. So that he can continue to put pressure on Hamas if the prisoner exchange agreement is not reached.

This Palestinian analyst wrote that this stage includes focusing on specific ground operations solely by relying on intelligence data, reducing army forces, and resorting to airstrikes.
