Stop the violations against Palestinians in the West Bank

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Netherlands, Caspar Veldkamp, wrote on X social network on Friday night: I condemn the violence of extremist settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank last night. Israeli authorities must take measures to protect communities and prevent violence.

On Thursday night, more than a hundred Israeli settlers attacked the village of Jit near the city of Qalqilya and set fire to Palestinian houses and cars. According to the announcement of the Palestinian Ministry of Health, one Palestinian was shot dead by Israeli settlers who were wearing masks, and another person was wounded.

The foreign minister of the Netherlands also wrote in another message about the ceasefire talks in Gaza: I welcome the ongoing activities in Doha to ensure the release of the hostages (captives) and provide immediate relief to the people of Gaza. The Netherlands fully supports the proposal of the United States, Qatar and Egypt. I want the parties to agree and bring the negotiations to a conclusion.
