Bagheri as Secretary of the Strategic Council for Foreign Relations

TEHRAN (Defapress) - This morning, Saturday, during the farewell ceremony for Abbas Araghchi, the former Secretary of the Strategic Council for Foreign Relations, Ali Bagheri Kani was appointed as a new member and Secretary of the Strategic Council for Foreign Relations. Araghchi's efforts during his tenure as Secretary of the Council were also appreciated.

A decision was issued by Kamal Kharrazi, the head of the council, stating that based on the opinion of theSupreme Leader, you have been appointed as a member of the Strategic Council for Foreign Relations, which entails assigning you the responsibility of the council’s secretariat. 

The decision also indicated that the appointment of Araghchi as an advisor would contribute to facilitating the performance of the Council’s secretarial duties.
