Israeli airstrikes are targeting residential buildings in Gaza

TEHRAN (Defapress) - There has been a notable increase in the  Israeli airstrikes aimed at densely populated areas in the central and various regions of the Gaza Strip.

In the city of Khan Younis, two residential buildings were struck shortly after midnight, resulting in the confirmed deaths of seven Palestinians, as reported by Gaza’s Health Ministry, with an additional 15 individuals sustaining injuries.

The northern part of the Strip is also experiencing a rise in attacks on residential structures, particularly in the border town of Beit Lahiya, where artillery bombardments have intensified.

Local witnesses have reported that the city has been subjected to continuous assaults since the early morning hours.

Additionally, Deir el-Balah was targeted again in the early morning, leading to the confirmed deaths of two Palestinians.

The safety of the Palestinian population is a growing concern, and hospitals are encountering significant difficulties in managing the increasing number of civilian casualties, particularly among women and children.
