Funeral ceremony of martyr General Nilforoushan in Tehran

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The funeral ceremony of the martyr General Abbas Nilforoushan, Supreme Counselor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Lebanon, began in Imam Hossein (AS) Square in Tehran with the presence of high-ranking military commanders and officials and people.

The citizens of Tehran, while holding the flags of the Resistance Front, chanted the slogans of resistance.  

The Zionist regime's prime minister, Netanyahu, with the support of the United States, issued an order to assassinate the Secretary General of Lebanon's Hezbollah, Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, from the headquarters of the United Nations in New York. 

As a result of this order, the planes of the Zionist regime bombarded the residential areas of the suburb of Beirut and used 2,000-pound American mortar bombs for this assassination operation. In these attacks, Mujahideen such as Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of Hezbollah of Lebanon, and General Nilforoushan were martyred.
