TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al Jazeera, Fayez al-Dwairi, the military affairs analyst, predicted that the missile used by Hezbollah during the bombardment of the Zionist regime's naval base in the northwest of Haifa was a type of ballistic or Yakhont missile.

He further added: Lebanon's Hezbollah has announced that it has targeted the "Stella Maris" naval base, which includes advanced ships, with unique missiles.

Al-Dwairi clarified that Hezbollah has not specified the type of these missiles, but if they used Yakhont missiles in the attack on this base, it means that the equipment deployed in this base, from warships to... were targeted.

The Yakhont missile is one of the most advanced anti-ship missiles in the world, which is designed to fly above the surface of the sea to prevent its detection, and has a speed equal to the speed of sound, which makes it difficult to intercept.

Al-Dwairi added that Lebanon's Hezbollah should include all military facilities and naval and air bases of the Zionist regime in its list of targets because these areas are considered the vital artery of the war against Lebanon. The attacks of Hezbollah against Haifa and Acre in the north of the occupied lands are carried out because these areas include strategic economic and tourism sectors.
