Foreign forces, including the US and Turkey, must leave Syria
The head of the so-called National Coalition of Syrian Opposition announced that elements of the Tahrir al-Sham group would not participate in the transitional government and that foreign forces must leave the country.
TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Arabi 21, Hadi al-Bahra, the head of the so-called National Coalition of Syrian Opposition, announced that these forces seek to form a transitional civilian government that will not include members of HTS.
He added, "The transitional government will take over the country's affairs for 18 months until elections are held under a specific timetable."
Al-Bahra claimed that their goal is to expel all foreign forces, including the United States, Russia, and Turkey, from Syrian territory within the same 18 months.
He also claimed yesterday: We do not interfere in the internal affairs of neighboring countries and we are trying to build a new Syria. We adhere to international agreements.
