Druze Warns New Syrian Rulers

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Arabi 21, Bahaa Jamal, the operational commander of the Druze clan, in the Syrian province of Suwayda, stated: “The sheikاs of this province are opposed to the entry of elements affiliated with terrorist groups.”

He added: “If any aggression is committed against us or something is imposed on us as residents of Suwayda, we will take steps to govern this province federally.”

Bahaa Jamal added that the forces under his command prevented elements affiliated with the terrorist Jolani regime from entering Suwayda province.

He stated that these elements were trying to enter the province through deception and trickery without coordinating with the relevant authorities. Jamal added that they have not received any foreign aid so far, but they want an international stance to protect their province.

He warned: “We are not looking for bloodshed, but if something is imposed on us, we will not hesitate to defend ourselves and may launch a new revolution.”
