TEHRAN (Defapress)—The Arab world's responsibility toward the Palestinian issue is one of the complex and multifaceted topics rooted in the history, politics, and collective identity of Arab nations. This issue is significant not only due to linguistic, cultural, and religious commonalities but also because of the Arab world's historical and political role in the formation and perpetuation of the Palestinian crisis.

The Responsibility of the Arab World Towards the Palestinian Issue

In this text, we aim to explore and examine the various dimensions of the Arab world's responsibility towards the Palestinian issue. To provide a general overview, we must note that the Arab world's responsibility towards the Palestinian issue can be discussed and analyzed in terms of "historical and moral responsibility," "political and diplomatic responsibility," "economic and financial support responsibility," and "responsibility towards human rights and justice."

In the dimension of "historical and moral responsibility," it must be said that the Arab world, due to its historical and cultural ties with the Palestinian people, has always considered itself committed to supporting the rights of Palestinians. Since the occupation of Palestine by the Zionist regime in 1948 and the intensification of the crisis after the 6-Day War in 1967, Arab countries have emerged as the primary supporters of the Palestinian people on the international stage. This moral responsibility stems from a sense of solidarity with the Palestinian people, who are historically and culturally considered part of the Arab world.

Another dimension of the Arab world's responsibility towards the Palestinian issue is "political and diplomatic responsibility." Over the past decades, Arab countries have sought to support Palestinian rights through international forums such as the United Nations, the Arab League, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. They have called for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with defined borders and the recognition of Jerusalem as its capital. However, some Arab countries have recently weakened the unified stance of the Arab world by normalizing relations with the Zionist regime. These actions have led some analysts to question the political responsibility of the Arab world.

In the dimension of "economic and financial support responsibility," it should be noted that Arab countries, particularly the oil-rich Gulf states, have played a significant role in supporting Palestinians through financial aid. This aid includes funding for the reconstruction of Gaza, support for Palestinian refugees, and covering the expenses of the Palestinian Authority. However, some critics argue that this aid has sometimes been used as a tool to control popular movements and maintain the status quo rather than strengthening Palestinian resistance.

In the dimension of "responsibility towards human rights and justice," it must also be emphasized that the Arab world has a responsibility to defend the human rights of Palestinians against systematic violations by the Zionist regime. This includes supporting the rights of Palestinian refugees, opposing Tel Aviv's settlement policies, and condemning violence against civilians. Arab countries should exert more pressure on the Zionist regime through international institutions and active diplomacy to end its illegal actions and crimes against Palestinians.

However, the Arab world's responsibility towards the Palestinian issue faces significant challenges and limitations. Despite the aforementioned responsibilities, the Arab world is confronted with numerous internal and external challenges that limit its ability to provide effective and meaningful support to Palestine. Additionally, international pressures and relations with major powers like the United States have led some Arab countries to reconsider their positions.

Arab countries must pay full attention to this highly important and sensitive issue that the forced displacement of Gaza's residents is one of the most dangerous manifestations of collective oppression being carried out by Donald Trump, the President of the United States. This American plan is a dark and ominous scheme, and silence or ignoring it is absolutely unacceptable and not in the interest of these countries.

The plan to displace Palestinians from their ancestral lands reflects the efforts of the United States and the Zionist regime to destroy Palestine and impose the law of the jungle in the 21st century. Therefore, Arab leaders and people must know and be aware that supporting the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza is religiously forbidden and a great betrayal of the significant and resilient Palestinian cause. Thus, it is incumbent upon all Arabs and Muslims worldwide to support and defend the rights of their oppressed Palestinian brothers with all their political, economic, and military capabilities.

Finally, Arab countries must pay close attention to the fact that any cooperation with the occupying regime in Jerusalem is entirely wrong and dangerous. The greed and aggressions of the Zionist regime will not be limited to the land of Palestine. In the future, based on the slogan "from the river to the sea," other Arab lands will also be targeted for invasion and occupation by the Zionist enemy.
