Hours before the official start of the funeral procession for the pure bodies of the martyrs Nasrallah and Safi al-Din, people began entering the Camille Chamoun Sports Stadium in Beirut, the venue for the funeral ceremony.
TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to the report of the Defapress correspondent in Beirut, on the eve of the funeral for the pure bodies of the martyrs Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and Seyyed Hashem Safi al-Din, the entrances to the streets of the southern suburbs of Lebanon were filled with crowds, and traffic was heavy. Flags of Hezbollah, Lebanon, and images of the 2 martyrs were installed along the funeral route from the stadium to their burial site.
So far, more than half a million people have entered Lebanon to participate in the funeral of the pure bodies of these 2 martyrs. In this regard, Lebanese sources announced that from 5:00 AM on Saturday until late in the day, more than 50 aircraft carrying participants in the funeral of the pure bodies of the martyr Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, the late Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, landed at Rafic Hariri International Airport.
Beirut, especially the southern suburbs, witnessed a massive presence of supporters and admirers of the Resistance front in the streets of the city on the night before the historic funeral of the martyrs Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and Seyyed Hashem Safi al-Din.
The entry of people into the Camille Chamoun Sports Complex in Beirut began several hours before the start of the funeral procession for the martyrs Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and Seyyed Hashem Safi al-Din. Lebanese citizens, with great enthusiasm, arrived at the stadium in the early hours of the morning.
Al-Manar reported that the flow of Lebanese citizens, carrying Hezbollah flags, toward the stadium continues.
The funeral procession for the pure bodies of the martyrs will begin from the Camille Chamoun Sports Stadium, which, along with the funeral route—approximately 3.5 kilometers to the burial site—has been decorated in the days leading up to the event.
The ceremony is scheduled to officially begin at 1:00 PM Beirut time.
It is said that, out of respect and to ensure security, all incoming and outgoing flights at Beirut International Airport will be suspended from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM Beirut time.
After traveling the 3.5-kilometer route, the pure bodies will reach Martyr Soleimani Street and, upon arriving at Martyr Soleimani Square in front of the Imam Khomeini Cultural Center, the body of Martyr Nasrallah will be buried. The pure body of Seyyed Hashem Safi al-Din will also be buried on Monday in the Deir Qanoun al-Nahr area near the city of Tyre.

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, headed a delegation consisting of the Office of the Supreme Leader, the government, the parliament, and the families of the martyrs, and departed for Beirut to attend the funeral of the martyrs Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine.

The great mujahid and leading commander of the Resistance in the region, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah (may God elevate his status), is now in a position that is the height of honor. His pure body will be laid to rest in the land of jihad for the sake of God, but his spirit and his path will shine more gloriously each day, God willing, illuminating the way for those who follow him.
Let the enemy be aware that resistance against usurpation, oppression, and arrogance will never end and will continue until the ultimate goal is reached, by the will of God.
The good name and radiant countenance of Sayyid Hashem Safieddine (may God be pleased with him) is also a shining star in this region’s history. He was a close companion and inseparable part of the Resistance’s leadership in Lebanon.
May the greetings of God and His righteous servants be upon these two honorable mujahids; as well as on the other courageous, self-sacrificing fighters who have recently attained martyrdom; and upon all the martyrs of Islam.
