TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al Jazeera, after the Zionists violated the ceasefire agreement by refusing to release 820 Palestinian prisoners in exchange for the liberation of 6 of their captives held by Hamas yesterday, the fragile ceasefire in Gaza is now on the verge of collapse.

Bassem Naim, one of the leaders of the Hamas movement, stated: "Hamas has reacted to this issue, and the continuation of the negotiation process will be affected by it."

Naim emphasized: "Before the release of Palestinian prisoners, which was agreed upon in exchange for the release of 6 Zionist captives, Hamas will not engage in any dialogue with the enemy through mediators regarding the next steps in the ceasefire agreement unless the Palestinian prisoners are freed."

As a result, future negotiations between the Palestinians and the Zionist side, with the presence of international mediators including Qatar and Egypt to implement the second phase of the ceasefire in Gaza, have been suspended.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, is now under pressure from extremist ministers in his cabinet, as they have threatened to withdraw from the coalition government if the ceasefire in Gaza continues.
